Samurai

A samurai wears armor, a mask and they carry swords. Samurais have to train lots and have to always be ready to fight a battle.

Most of the time the samurai rides on horseback. They are the only people allowed to carry weapons. A samurai carries 2 swords, a long one and a shorter one. The shorter sword is called either a "shoto" or a "wakizashi". The long sword is called a "daito" or a "katana".

Training to become a samuria depends on the wealth of the family. If the family has lots of money you go to a school for training but if your family doesn't have a lot of money a male from th family teaches you basic training.
