Hurricane Ike
Hurricanes
Hurricanes are powerful storms that cause massive damage to cities, towns, forests and many other things.
Off of the gulf coast of Texas, United States on Galveston Island a hurricane hit in the year 2008. The hurricane was named “Hurricane Ike”.
The hurricane on Galveston Island caused massive floods and fire causing loads of damage to the island.
In the picture that was taken no people can be seen, all you can see is roofs of houses, and tree tops. Also in the picture you can see the waves smashing into Galveston island from the ocean.
During hurricane season not too many people will want to be around, the massive floods cause some expensive damage.
I don’t think I’d be visiting Galveston island during hurricane season !

Letter to th editor
Dear editor,
I watch the reality show Nanny 911 and when i heard that "reality T.V" isn't really real i wasn't shocked at all. I figured that not everything was real and that some things were made up or added into the show, but I mean who cares ! It doesn't matter, people have been watching it this long with out caring really. just because something is added into it doesn't mean people should stop watching it, it's not that much of a shocker. It doesn't bother me at all that reality shows aren't "real", they're still the same as what i thought they were before, and still interesting. So even though things aren't what they seem Keep the shown coming :)
